Integration Consultant - Business Intelligence
Overview

The Integration Consultant will assist prospective and current customers implement the LogiXML/LogiOnDemand suite of products. The individual is responsible for responding to customer’s technical and business requirements, providing technical sales and solution presentations, delivering proof of concepts that fulfill customer needs, and providing ongoing technical account support and management. The individual will also be responsible for facilitating new product releases, coordinating enhancement requests and interfacing with the development team. The position will have to interface with the Account Management, Product Management and Development teams in order to provide the best technical solution to client’s requirements.

The successful candidate will have several years of technical experience as well as some pre-sales or sales consulting. You will also have good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to deliver complex technical and sales oriented presentation to customer’s technical staff and senior management.

Technical Requirements:
  • Experience with third party software integration (e.g., financial packages, CRM solutions).
  • Experience writing custom software integration modules.
  • Experience with relational database systems (SQL Server, Oracle) and knowledge of SQL.
  • Working knowledge of BI reporting and analytics software (Business Objects, Cognos, Microstrategy).
  • Knowledge of web development environments (HTML, ASP, Scripting languages).
  • Knowledge of web server environments (IIS, Websphere, Weblogic).
  • Ability to quickly assess requirements and design solutions to meet needs.
Business Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant technical field.
  • Experience managing integration projects with multiple clients.
  • Experience translating a client business need and providing a technical solution Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Desire to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Good project and time management skills.
  • Good work ethic, motivated self-starter, and integrity.
  • Ability to qualify a sales opportunity.
  • Ability to persuade and influence customers.
  • Willingness to travel (approximately 20%).
  • Knowledge of foreign languages is a plus.
